Happy New Year!
2025 is well underway, and before we know it, January will be behind us. Time truly seems to move faster with each passing year. Every December, I find myself marveling at how quickly the year has flown by. Why is that?
As we plan, worry, or reminisce, life continues to flow around us—often unnoticed. I wonder, is it because I wasn’t fully present in each moment that time seems to slip away? Reflecting on 2024, I recall a few key moments, yet much of the year feels like a blur. Are we, as busy humans, meant to hold on to every memory, or is it enough simply to live and trust that we’re doing our best? What do you think?

Spiritual traditions often encourage mindfulness and unconditional acceptance of the present moment. Eckhart Tolle reminds us:“The secret of awakening is to unconditionally accept this moment as it is.”
This act of surrendering to the present—the Now—isn’t always easy, especially when it comes with challenges like illness or discomfort. Yet, resisting what is can often lead to more suffering. If you’ve tried fighting the present moment, you likely know how exhausting that can feel.
Instead, when we relax and fully accept whatever arises, we align ourselves with the flow of life. From that place of surrender, a deeper intelligence within us can guide us toward positive action.
Living this way allows us to experience a lightness of spirit.
To help you embody this lightness, today’s short Qigong practice is designed to nurture a sense of flow and ease.
May your 2025 be filled with peace, lightness, and many joyful moments!
